Women's Health & Nervous System Practitioner

About Rachel

My journey into women’s health started with my own.
I was diagnosed with stage 4 endometriosis after years of living with chronic pain and struggling with fertility.
I had surgery, but unfortunately my pain returned just a few months later, and I still live with endometriosis today.
When my Endometriosis Specialist told me, “There’s nothing more we can do,” I decided to look further. I enrolled in nutrition school and began studying hormone health from an integrative perspective.
What started with hormones soon became something much bigger.
I began to understand that endometriosis isn't simply about hormones or the reproductive system. Inflammation, pain, the nervous system, pelvic health, nutrition, movement and emotional wellbeing can all become part of the wider picture.
That realisation led me deeper into integrative women's health and ultimately shaped the multidisciplinary approach I use today.
Why I take a multidisciplinary approach
Endometriosis and adenomyosis are complex conditions, and every woman's experience of them is different.
I believe the way we support them should reflect that.
My approach considers the different areas that can influence how you feel and the severity of your symptoms:
Pain & inflammation
The nervous system
Hormones
Pelvic health & movement
Digestion & nutrition
Sleep, energy & emotional wellbeing
I don't believe one discipline holds all the answers.

How I work
My approach brings together different areas of evidence-informed practice, allowing us to look at your health from more than one perspective.
Functional Health
Exploring nutrition, lifestyle and other factors that may be relevant to endometriosis and your wider health.
Therapeutic Movement
Using Clinical Pilates, Clinical Yoga and gentle movement to support pain management, recovery after laparoscopy and confidence in movement.
Pain Science
Drawing on pain science, nervous system regulation, breathwork and clinical hypnotherapy to support persistent pain, stress and the wider impact of living with endometriosis.
Looking at the whole picture
Pain is part of my work, but it isn’t the whole picture.
I’m interested in your experience of endometriosis or adenoymosis as a whole- how you feel emotionally, how the condition may be affecting your pelvic floor and wider health, how you navigate flare days, and what may be influencing the severity of your symptoms.
My aim is to give you the space, education and personalised support to join the dots, better understand your health and navigate life with endometriosis or adenomyosis with greater confidence.
