1:1 Movement Therapy

Therapeutic movement for chronic pain, flare-ups and recovery after surgery.

Living with endometriosis or adenomyosis can change your relationship with your body and exercise. Pain, flare-ups, pelvic floor tension, fatigue and recovery from surgery can all affect what movement feels accessible from one day to the next.

My 1:1 Movement Therapy sessions bring together Clinical Pilates, Clinical Yoga, pelvic health exercises, restorative movement and nervous system-informed practices to create an approach that meets you where your body is.

Movement that adapts with you

Endometriosis and adenomyosis can make it difficult to predict how your body will feel from one day to the next.

On days when your body feels fatigued, tense or more sensitive, movement might look different. Instead of your usual workout, that might mean slower movement, breathwork or restorative practices. On other days, we might focus more on strength and mobility.

1:1 Movement Therapy is about using gentle, therapeutic movement to support your body through the realities of living with endometriosis or adenomyosis

Movement supports more than pain

Movement can support many areas of health that matter when you're living with a chronic condition — including strength, cardiovascular health, sleep, digestion, energy and emotional wellbeing.

The challenge is finding ways to move that still feel accessible when you're navigating pain, fatigue, flare-ups or recovery from surgery. That's where a more therapeutic, adaptable approach to movement can help.

What is Movement Therapy?

Movement Therapy allows us to draw from different therapeutic approaches rather than expecting your body to fit into one particular style of exercise.

Clinical Pilates

A more individualised, rehabilitation-informed approach to Pilates, with exercises adapted around your chronic condition, symptoms, and physical needs.

Clinical Yoga

A therapeutic approach to yoga adapted around chronic pain, pelvic and hormonal health and nervous system regulation.

Restorative Movement

Slower, gentler movement and supported positions that reduce physical effort and create space for rest and nervous system regulation.

Pelvic Health

Movement and exercises to support pelvic floor awareness, mobility, coordination and function — areas that can be affected by endometriosis and adenomyosis.

You don't need to choose between them. We can draw from different approaches within the same session depending on what you need that day.
Yoga Pose Practice

Sessions shaped around you

Sessions are 1:1 and online, giving us the space to work with your individual symptoms, goals and energy levels.

We might work on strength and mobility one week, then take a gentler approach during a flare or lower-energy week. Breathwork and nervous system practices can also be woven into sessions where appropriate.

Endometriosis and adenomyosis may have changed your relationship with exercise, but they don't have to stop you from moving.
